We sing to the victors,
Who always write our history.
They ride their heroic horses through the sky,
While they plunder, rape, and murder.
Only their religion survives.

In their history, the victim becomes the devil,
As the devil becomes a hero.
The victim becomes the terrorist;
The terrorist not only becomes the victim;
He also becomes a hero.
It’s either an Indian massacre
Or a Custer victory.

In truth,
Sometimes both sides wind up as terrorists;
Sometimes there are no heroes.
To find a hero,
Sometimes one must look into the mirror.
