We would all like to live a long, long
healthy life

The Great Spirit picks its flowers while they are blossoming
not while they are withered and dry

So the Great Spirit picks the best of us
to die young so that they can all be remembered
in the spring of their life, bright and vibrant.

We will never have to remember them as wrinkled
old woman-man with their walking canes
