Love & Struggle
As with our forefathers, love is a struggle
and justice has to be reinvented.
To seek the truth, we must rewrite our history,
that which is noble becomes ignoble.
Up becomes down; down becomes up.
White becomes black;
Black remains black.
We no longer wear the mask of deceit.
Our mask fades away,
as we sail against the wind.
Our mask fades away,
as we learn to love ourselves.
